Steve Irwin's "Crocodile Hunter" has to be the best show on Animal Planet.
AP has a collection of your run of the mill animal documentaries, some of which are worth watching and some of which are just poorer versions of good programs you have seen already. If you really like animals then I am sure you'll like almost everything on Animal Planet.

If, like me, you want a good informative documentary or an enjoyable show to relax to then Animal Planet has only a few programs that will keep you watching. Now, bare in mind, Discovery has to compete with itself; if you have Animal Planet then the chances are you have Discovery Civilisations and, of course, Discovery itself, so the temptation is always to channel flick to one of the better of the sibling stations. However, if the Crocodile Hunter is airing then Animal Planet will hold your attention tighter than a tightly-grabbing thing.
Animal Planet does have an advantage over its sibling channels though; lots of people like animals and so lots of animal related programs tend to be made. Animal Planet shows less re-runs than the other Discovery channels; it simply has a bigger collection of programs to air.
