DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUNCH OF CHEATS! I have had 2 problems with them. First of all, I ordered a ring and paid £280 for it. It looked lovely on screen and had a guide price of £4000. It claimed to use SI clarity diamonds, fairly high up on the diamons scale. When I received the ring I took it to be resized, only to be told that it was of 'a quality that most jewellers would refuse to sell', and that the diamonds were of little more than industrial quality. As if this is not enough, I innocently also ordered a digital camera, paying £195 for a Vivitar 6 megapixel camera. On the 4th august 2004 I won an auction for a DVD Recorder on chase it tv. On the 5th August 2004 they took £198 out of my bank account by way of my visa/credit card. Delivery was supposed to be in ten days. I have received nothing as yet. I have e mailed them four times and received no reply, faxed them and again received no reply. I then left a message on a telephone answering machine, however they have not come back to me. I phoned them tonight, was told there was a queque and to hold the line, after 25 minutes I gave up. AUCTION WORLD IS DANGEROUS! I thought i should write to let you know about a problem i have had with auction-world.tv. My mother purchased an Aston Gerard stainless steel and 3.8 carat diamond timepiece on 3rd May 2004. Having waited the specified 21working days, i phoned up and eventually got to speak to someone to ask if there was a problem.
