Advantages: Great programmes, variety of programmes, no adverts

In my opinion this is the best all round channel that has ever been broadcast on the television.

It contains a variety of programmes such as documentary programmes, sport programmes, drama programmes, music programmes, entertainment programmes and many more.

A great thing about bbc one is that it contains no adverts so you can actually enjoy a program without being interrupted. I find it irritaing when you are watching a really good program and then the adverts come on so bbc one is the channel for me.

I think the best programme the bbc have ever made is doctor who because I think it has a bit of everything, sci-fi, drama, action, adventure, and romance. One minute you'll be excited with the action and next thing you know you'll be watching a sad scene. Another favourite is match of the day because it gives an analytical view of the football world and includes higlights from all the premier league games each weekend. Another programme that I enjoy is the bbc news because they go across the world to give you all the latest news stories and this is very helpful.

Overall a great channel that offers a wide range of programmes over a wide audience. I think this is a channel that can only get better because each programme they produce is more professional each time.
