Advantages: It doesn't have Commercials
Disadvantages: It need to balance itself out more
It is time the BBC woke up to the fact that they are using the TV licences to finance overpaid Fat Cats and not enough on the quality of their entertainment.
I watch the morning news and weather from 6 am each day with a cup of tea and find that within that hour they have covered the day's events twice.
One of the most important issues being that of finance is only around a minute or two long.
I would like to see some of the issues or headlines of interest given extra time, even if it only covered once. Some of these could be funny or just away from the grim politics for five to ten minutes.
They could cover the latest fashions and crazes of the week. Sport could give a few minutes to funny occurrences that happen to bring a smile on our faces to start the day. The foreign correspondents they show in their advertising could show a review of "Around the World this morning."
There could also be previews of the Programmes later that day which could tempt people to watch. However some soaps need the dialogues of their stories reviewed.
Although I love Football, I feel it is a bit early to show on a Sunday morning instead of the news but I guess they can't please everyone.
I do not watch much television as I write mostly in the evenings as there isn't much worth watching anyway. I would welcome if they did away with the license and put a cap on the price of price per view. They spend too much time and money on catching license evaders, when it could be used to develop better and new programmes instead of making us watch repeats that we have already paid for.
Summary: Time to review the format and schedules at the BBC
