when a football competition is on, like euro 2000 is now, try stwitching between the BBC and ITV. is it me or does the BBC picture look better than ITVs? it may just be me and where i live, but the BBC picture is richer in colour and sharper.

anyway... the BBC has always had a reputation for quality broadcasting and i think that it is still leading the way. ITV seems to come out with some real crap these days. what are they spending their money on? the BBC seem to be spending the TV lience money well.

broadcasting a wide range of shows to cater for all tastes. childrens programmes have always been good on the BBC, i remember my childhood, back then... anyway. nature programmes, havent noticed wildlife on 1 recently, comedy, drama, and neighbours.

the BBC are renowned for being a good tv channel. lets hope they dont let the quality drop in any way.
