Advantages: More cutting edge, Less boring

Disadvantages: Unreliable schedules, Not ALL good of course

i watch BBC2 way more than BBC1, it has cooler programs, like louis theroux's weird weekends, and the simpsons (of course), cooler logo's (2 in the bath, 2 in the fridge, 2 falling in a big pile of coccaine...er.. dust i mean).

The whole channel feels younger, and fresher, less tied to humdrum schedule clogging things like soap operas, and obligatory home improvement(?!) shows, and there are more cultural programs about the arts, classic films, in depth news discussions, and so forth.

So why does it seem to get treated as a sort of overflow station for BBC1 still? Even in this day and age, Snooker, golf, anything they can't fit on one gets shoved onto two... Like, CHEERS MR SCHEDULER! How many times have you heard of things getting postponed, then just forgetting about it totally when it does actually come on?
