Advantages: Good Comedy, Good Cartoons, Good for fans of Bad sport

Disadvantages: Bad Sport, Several repeats shown constantly, Rubbish Documentaries shown nightly

If you ask me, BBC 2 shows about 3 hours and 45 minutes of good programming a week, with The Simpsons, which is always repeats and never seems to be a new episode, so is not to everyone's liking, and The Fresh Prince of Belair, which is VERY old stuff or Top Of the Pops 2 which is no longer that good.

Of course, their is about an hour of good, new comedy every monday and even newer stuff every Tuesday and Wednesday, which is really the only other thing worth watching. If people like watching documentaries about the Breeding Habits of Snails or how well Old buildings were built, hosted by an Old Yorkshire man who keeps saying "eee, that's ruddy good 'in't it?' then you really should watch this channel, and of course if you enjoy having regular stuff interrupted by Snooker or Tennis, or even Darts, which are not the best sports, for three weeks, then you probably would enjoy BBC 2.

In Conclusion, I have to say that the BBC are not prioritising well. Instead of launching new channels like BBC 3 and 4 and Digital radio like BBC 6 Music and BBC 7, they should really improve the standard of BBC 2 and introduce a new Sports channel for the stuff that ends up on BBC 2.

You make a good point there I suppose. Although I happen to like a lot of the new comedies that they show on the Beeb.

I think its second only to Channel 4 for content, and apart from The Simpsons and Fresh Prince, there aren't really all that many repeats on it...
