BBC 2 produces some decent programs :Heres a sample nights veiwing. (BBC 2)

BBC 2 here is a sample nights veiwing Feb 14th had one of my Favourites *Bill Oddie*
With his talent for a birds eye view of the country (spot the accidental joke*:)
Not only does He share his moments with different birds ,He notices the flowers and greenery ,if not by comment with His camera .

A recent program had him on a hoist up a tree looking at Herons,He had to wait for the camera man to get Him down it was amusing with unique footage.

He also went to a private Home in one program to show that there are some parrots in that area London to be precise.

His gentle and knowledgable ways make this a very relaxing program to watch.
* Katy my little black cat likes to watch with facination too *.

Then came Essential Poems (To fall in Love With ) beautiful romantic Poetry recited by Men and women sometimes the Author ,very refreshing .

Then another lovely program *The winter flying gardener*Chris Beardshaw* is flown in a Helicopter all round the Country to visit and help People plan their gardens.

This program was set in gardens in Somerset and Devon to help 2 ladies plan their spring gardens,very pleasant and educational for us garden lovers.You have a chance to see the landscape on his journeys as well.
He daoes different plants in every program .

Then a really facination and moving program:*Motherland a genetic Journey *in this proprogram Afro-carribean have smples of there DNA taken from cells on a swab from their mouths ,and then a computer is used to map out matches from other sampling to find where the person originated .
This traces several men and women going on this Journey which once they fing their Country of origen becomes a real journey.

One woman finds Her tribe and visits them and has a real welcome from them,she ends up claiming some land for herself .
Another does similar but finds the actual journey a bit taxing.It is a very emotional experience for them
.

A man does similar and dresses in the national garb takes part in a ceremony and adopts a new name for Himself.

What was very eye opening is all these people had European genetic links too they were quite suprised it agrees with something I said in my English language opinion.
We are all related to everyone else.

BBB 2 Well worth watching .
