Not very good if you live in Wales! (BBC Choice)

Advantages: Some good channels, like Liquid News

Disadvantages: Not such a good channel if you live in Wales

BBC CHOICE is the BBC’s digital entertainment channel. It broadcast from 7pm every night, and during the day there are children’s programmes from CBBC.

I’m not a huge viewer of the channel, but I do like a few programmes on the channel. Liquid News is my favourite; it’s an entertainment news show covering TV, music and showbiz news. The show is witty, straightforward and interesting.

I live in Wales, so I receive BBC CHOICE Wales and this annoys me. There are schedule differences. A new show, which started on BBC CHOICE called “Come Fly with me” was not on the same time on BBC CHOICE Wales, instead there was sport.Wales, which I found very annoying. Also because it’s a Wales channel they insist on repeating boring Welsh programmes over and over again.

BBC CHOICE also annoys me in the way that it has BBC CHOICE NEWS, in my opinion there’s no need for another news programme, if you want news go and watch the 6 or 10’o clock news on BBC ONE or go and watch BBC NEWS 24.

BBC CHOICE next year though looks as if it will disappear and make way for the new BBC THREE and BBC FOUR channel. BBC CHOICE is at the moment very thin at the moment and I think it needs a bit more money to get it to be a more watch able channel.
