To anyone that has satellite television and misses a lot of programs during the week because of work commitments or hot dates then BBC Choice is ideal.

Its definatley a lifesaver for me , as I am the one in our house that gets out of bed with the kids every weekend morning.

As soon as I come down stairs with the kids BBC Choice is straight on the telly.

Back to back episodes of 'The tweenies' followed by such programs as 'Chuckle Vision' , 'Playdays' and endless kids television from during the week from CBBC all compiled into one seemingly endless show.

All that television must be bad for the kids!!! I hear you all shout.
Well when you have a hyperactive 3 year old and a 1 year old that will only stop crying when the 'Tweenies ' is on then no, its not bad for them.

However BBC choice isnt just for the little ones.
The childrens programs stop at 6:45pm and move over to the more general programs that you have missed on BBC 1 and BBC 2 through the week.

Looking at todays listings for BBC Choice there is something for everyone.

I know they are all repeated shows, but best of all they are recent repeats and once they are shown they wont be shown again in the near futre.

And as we have to pay over £100 for our licence I am happy to be able to recieve more programes from the BBC even if I have seen it all before, its nice to see our licence fees getting spent on something worthwile instead of silly adverts with orange globes flying over different parts of the world!(but thats a different op altogether! Sorry)

In Summary then :

BBC Choice is a valuble channel that is provided free with digital television.
It has something for everyone (mainly the kids at weekends)
You can see everything you missed during the week at weekends.
As for Choice being free , it is if you already have Digital television.
Very watchable!
