I wouldn't recommend BBC Choice for Children shows. My 2yr old daughter does not like the shows. She finds violence offensive and turns the tv off. One show in particular - Bodger and Badger she dislikes so much that if you mention the tv programme she screws her nose up and says 'Yuk, Yuk, Yuk'. The only benefit is that ... To anyone that has satellite television and misses a lot of programs during the week because of work commitments or hot dates then BBC Choice is ideal. Its definatley a lifesaver for me , as I am the one in our house that gets out of bed with the kids every weekend morning. As soon as I come down stairs with the kids BBC Choice ... BBC Choice is a free channel on digital tv, we have cable and my children love watching CBBC on Choice. CBBC on Choice is aimed at the younger pre-school children and has a wide range of programmes from cartoons and Bob the Builder to educational programmes like Open the door. CBBC is on Choice from 6am until 7pm when it goes ... Read the complete review

I like BBC Choice. This puts me in a minority (of only 14,000 out of the 58 million of us sometimes), but it has the programmes I like to watch, and in the daytime the kids choice is fantastic. My personal viewing favourite has to be Liquid News, with the wonderfully acerbic Christopher Price and various 'celebrity' guests. But there's ... Read the complete review

BBC CHOICE is the BBC’s digital entertainment channel. It broadcast from 7pm every night, and during the day there are children’s programmes from CBBC. I’m not a huge viewer of the channel, but I do like a few programmes on the channel. Liquid News is my favourite; it’s an entertainment news show covering TV, ... Read the complete review

BBC Choice CBBC is avid viewing, for my 4 yr old and my 22 month old. It is on from 6am till 7pm, and if I allowed it they would probably watch it the whole time repeats and all. As soon as I allow it, they are watching Bob the Builder, Tweenies, Chuckle Brothers (which I hate), Bodger and Badger, Teletubbies etc. I think my 4 yr old knows all ... Read the complete review

This channel is excellent if you have kids !!! All day long it shows kids programmes from CBBC and kids love it. They will sit infront of it ALL day non-stop. You will have to drag them away from it. It doesn't really seem to have anything for adults except later at night, but i think that the things on later are not that good. I don't ... Read the complete review

Who actually chooses BBC Choice programmes? I don't choose the ones they show as my favourites and I don't know anybody who does. The person who selects these should be made to watch them everyday for a week. That would make them stop and think. Are they 'choice' because they are cheapest? Are they 'choice' because they encourage relaxation and ... Read the complete review

BBC choice is a free channel for digital, satellite and cable viewers. In our house, it is mainly my daughter that watches. This is because the channel runs 'Children's BBC' programmes throughtout the day. The programmes tend to be of the Tweenies and Teletubbies ilk, so are ideal for a preschooler. Although the same handful ... Read the complete review

This is the channel where you can see 'the best' of the BBC programmes all over again. I now that may be limited but this channel does host some good programmes - I especially enjoy the comedy night in which is a tuesday night where there is one and a half hours of comedy transmissions. However, this is one night a week only and the rest ... Read the complete review

BBC Choice is a great channel for the kids. There always seems to be something on to keep them amused. Our youngest likes Bob The Builder,Tweenies and the Teletubbies the best. Okay so there are a lot of repeats on this ,and every other satellite channel, but the programmes shown on here are all well produced and are good quality. ... Read the complete review

BBC Choice is a very good channel for all small children; the programmes are gentle, with no interrupting adverts. It has just the right sort of programmes my two year old enjoys, Teletubbies, Tweenies, Bob the Builder, Williams wish Wellingtons, spider, Noddy, Artbox with Tony Hart and Playdays. The only down side, is they constantly repeat ... Read the complete review

Excellent if you have short term memory loss. Available on digital, I really think this channel will improve as more people start to watch it and the BBC pump more of our licence fee money into it. At the moment, the great majority of the programmes are CBBC ones, which are repeated twice in the day. This is great if you have children ... Read the complete review

There is absolutely no doubt that in daytime hours, my children love to watch this channel. They adore most of the BBC programmes and I appreciate their vigilance in ensuring the kiddies programmes are simply that... for kiddies. The first thing that struck me about BBC Choice was the huge selection of kiddies programmes on offer which include the Tweenies, Teletubbies, Oakie Dokie and Bob the Builder. This is great because, as we all know, we're now well into the six week summer holidays. Just plonk your child down in front of BBC Choice and they'll be entertained ... Read the complete review

BBC Choice on Sky Digital (and maybe On Digital, I'm not sure) is basically BBC heaven! It's where all the good programs go after expiring on the terrestrial BBC Channels (1&2), and sometimes get recycled. It's also home to BBC shows you won't find anywhere else! I've only viewed BBC Choice on evenings, and lunchtime ... Read the complete review

The BBC's new entertainments channel will find it difficult to find a place in the multi-channel future. There are already a number of excellent established entertainment channels on digital e.g. Sky One and there are more to come such as Channel Four's new channel E4. I believe that the BBC's answer to this is to find a niche area - ... Read the complete review

There is an occasional gem, but basically you have to kiss a hell of a lot of frogs before you get a prince. Without any formal announcement, the day time has, de facto, become a separate channel (BBC Brats) with endless recycled Postman Pats, Teletubbies, etc ad nauseam. Nearly all the rest is repeats ("another chance to ... Read the complete review
