BBC News 24 is BBC operated 24 hour news channel. It broadcasts news, sports news, weather and discussion programmes.

Lot of us would think this to be the best channel in UK for news. Not so my friends. This is due to BBC policy and funding. News on other BBC channels take priority. Radio gets first breaking news followed by news on BBC 1 if on at the time. So this channel is always behind Sky News on breaking news.

Many of the presenters on the channel have defected to other channels as well and BBC is reducing some of the stuff which was on channel before to save money.

I prefer to watch Sky if I can because of better quality output and breaking stories. BBC is far behind that channel.
