Second best channel out there for keeping in touch with all the news. This is available on free view and on Sky. BBC News does a good job of keeping us viewers updated on the top news from across the world. It also features a interactive menu but that does get updated a little late. I also find the weather forecasts on the show to not be right! I think they are not correct and on many occasions weather has turned out to be different in my area than shown on the channel!

For all the top news they have videos updated about a hour later. They are not as fast as Sky News are for breaking information on the latest news stories. They do send their reporters over across the world to bring you exclusive video clips though at times. I find BBC News to be slower to bring the news but once they have hold of a story they do a good job in making sure to bring you information on the story.

Being a viewer on BBC News they are showing less sports updates on the hour. This would improve their service more if they showed it a little more often but they are not doing that. I rather tune into BBC News when the same story is shown on Sky News! The reason for that is I want to see who shows it better! The result for me has been Sky News most of the times but at times BBC News does come out better to!
