Advantages: easy to use some bargains if you look

Disadvantages: expensive to phone, most items end at more than you can buy from elsewhere

Bid TV is a TV channel on sky, free view that sells items by having falling price auctions. There is a wide range of items and they are sold in bulk the price starts high, usually far higher than they are worth. Then the price falls until they are all sold or the auction ends. The items and are sold by people that over excited over any old bit of rubbish to try and get you to buy it. You also have to pay postage on all items on top of the final price which is quite expensive anything from about £8 to £10. If you phone up to bid you have to pay £1.50 per phone call or you can do it online for free.

That being said you can still get some bargains from there if you are careful, remember you have to pay postage as well on the final price and do not bid on a item that has come down from about £300 to a £100 because you think you must be getting a bargain as the chances are the item was not worth anyway near £300 to begin with. A lot of the items as well are hard to find the exact item elsewhere to compare prices against.

A good channel that if you are carefully can find some good bargains from. I got a 15" television for £10 including postage so bargains are there just few and far between.

Summary: if you look careful you should be able to find a bargain
