Advantages: fantastic chance to view and buy gifts at greatly reduced prices, Ease of access, frequent auctions
Disadvantages: addictive
Bid up T.V is a shopping channel for any ages who have a credit card and access to a telephone or internet. It is available on sky digital and telewest. I recently bought something of this channel and it arrived in five working days and it was in good packaging and the service was excellent. But on the other hand i have bought some things which i have had to return and we are still sorting out getting refunds and replacements... pros and cons i suppose. all in all though they are quite good. it is like QVC and other shopping channels in one perspective but this one has a different approach to buying things on the T.V, on other channels you are given a price for the product but on Bid up T.V you start from £1 and bid against other people wanting the same goods, so its fun shopping, in 0ther words this program is like an auction. If you are not near a tv you can always go on the internet to www.bid-up.tv and bid from there When you order your product the call cost is 60p a minute and lasts for about 40-55 seconds, and the person phoning must be 16 or over unless you are purchasing alcohol you have to be 18 years old. If your not entirely satisfied with any of you purcheses, you can return them for a refund. you can't lose. Throughout the program there is a massive range of products you can buy which start from food to TV’s and C.D players, and all go for a low price
