Needed a new toaster, saw one on Bid-up.Phoned in and got one for about £23 incl p&p. Then when I got my credit card statement there's a second debit of £69.99 apparantly for a steam press which I never bid for or received. Keep a record of what you've bid for . It's easy to miss these "mistakes". I am at present wating for a form ... Read the complete review

I have purchased numerous items from bid up tv, and every one had something wrong with it. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and these articles are not a bargain. I think that they are rejected/ faulty and the manufacturers are just trying to get a little of their money back.

While flicking through the hundreds of channels on Sky a couple of years back, my husband happened upon Bid Up, a shopping channel with a difference. Instead of simply buying an item, you could bid on it, a little bit like Ebay only you would phone in your bid. After watching for a while we discovered there was a website that would let us join in ... Read the complete review

I have been using Bid-Up-Tv for over a year now, and overall have been pleased with my purchases, which have included cuddly toys, a film cell, knives, underwear, and christmas presents. Sometimes the quality has been a little dubious, but for the price I paid (which was good) I decided to keep the items.... The problem with Bid-Up arises when ... Read the complete review

I was introduced to Price-Drop TV by a relation - as they say in their sales blurb - most customers to date are. It was about a year ago I had heard a woman talking about a certain TV channel where she had saved so much money and become so addicted that she had to stop watching the channel. She told me those 3 digits and then my life was officially taken over. That magic number is 647 for sky viewers. These numbers are not just any numbers but the key to the ... Read the complete review

Everyone seems to slate bid-up as being a company out to con people. I believe that they are an enterprising company, making good profits, and giving a good service. Maybe I am in a minority, but I find that the prices at the end of an auction almost always are reasonable for what they are selling. I have been bidding with bid-up ever ... Read the complete review

I will get to the reason behind my title later, but first about Bid-up.tv We used to be big fans of the channel called Shop on Sky. This was on channel 630 and I can?t think what was so good about it. We never bought anything from it, but it was so cheesy and good to slag off. Shop was part of the Index group and the channel ceased last ... Read the complete review

I have to agree with most of the other reviews... Bid-Up TV is addictive. I have bought several items from them, including some watches. Are they a bargain? Who knows. Apart from a Slazenger brand, I had never heard of the others, so I just hope Ive not been duped. I was a tad annoyed to have paid £40 for a laminating machine to find that ...
