Advantages: On demand facilities, really good value for money

Disadvantages: No SKY Sports and a few other channels it should have

Thos of you that have read my review of BT in general will know that I am not very happy with the service on the whole, but have remained loyal for now as I don't have the time to change all my email correspondence and such like.

However, what I didn't mention was the other reason I want to stay with BT and that is the magnificent BT Vision. BT Vision is essentially a FreeView Box but it gives you the ability to record, rewind, schedule recordings by series and watch endless programs on BT Vision 'On Demand'.

The Box itself is very good value for money and, unless you want the demand facility, that is all you will ever pay. For this one payment you get the box and the ability to record, pause and schedule recordings of live TV. That is just the half of what you can get though.

I can only comment on the package that we have and that is the Setanta 'Bronze' package. For that we get the Setanta Sports viewing card free and pay £7 per month to get the kids and general TV 'On Demand' channels. I can't describe how good this is, especially for my daughter, who as we speak is watching back to back Postman Pat 'On Demand'.

You will of course need a BT Hub and be a subscriber to BT Broadband to use the package, but despite the hang ups I have with BT in general, this is well worth it.
