BT Vision all in all good value!!! (BT Vision)
Member Name: Mandydc
Advantages: plenty of selection, rewind, fast forward, pause and record live tv . Disadvantages: No HD channels available ! Me and my partner are constantly watching tv/films etc..and we think we have the best package available. We went with BT for our internet and heard about the vision package available. As I can remember it was easy enough to install. At the beginning we had a few minor problems with connection and the picture kept jumping. We eventually got that sorted and we are now happy with it. There are so many great channels and programs to choose from, we are constantly watching films on bt vision. There is an option called 'picturebox' which has a good selection, eventhough there are some old films on there. If you would like to pay for films, you can choose from some recent films. The films available range from around 99p to aprox £3.50. Also you can download HD films which you will pay aprox £5.00. The tv selection is also really good, I have watched full series of shameless, gordon ramsays kitchen nightmares, the hills, lost and desperate housewives. It is always updating and has great programs to choose from, for all the family. You can rewind, fast forward and pause live programs. Also you can record any program you like. I believe you can only record two programs starting at the same time. But this isnt a problem either because there is a replay channel which has programs listed for every channel. Which is great if you have missed your favourate program. It is very easy to use, it is all seperated to the different catagories such as, music, films, tv, sports and kids. You can also press blue and type in the program you would like to find if it isnt listed where you looked. I have wondered if to get sky HD instead of BT vision but it is such great value for money that we have stuck with it. As we have connected an HDMI cable through the vision box, if we do download an HD film we can watch it in HD. We pay £22.50 for vision, £19.50 for the internet (which is the unlimited download option) and £12.50 for the phone line. So for just under £55 we are very happy with what we get. It can seem like a chunk a month but for what we get and what ive seen else where we couldnt be happier. I have found for the basic package with internet is £15.12. If you do watch a lot of TV and feel you would get your use out of it I would go for BT vision. Summary: I am happy with our Bt Vision! If you like watching tv/films it is just the thing for you. |
