Nothing makes your day, than a good hearty laugh. No medicines are so effective as a good laugh. When you start your day reading a newspaper and you read those cartoons, how well and refreshing you feel.

There are various channels competiting in giving the Mother-in-law soap opera’s, Quiz Shows and corruption soap opera’s. One channel, which stands, above all of them is the Cartoon Network. There is no doubt in comparing these channels but it is still better watching Cartoon Network than these stupid and boring soap opera’s

There were days when we used to enjoy watching He-man, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck shows on the Doordarshan. But after the invasion of the channels, kids are being blessed with one good channel. Cartoon Network. This is one channel, which is for all ages, right from a 4 year old to a 80 year old person.

You must be thinking at the age of 25, what am I doing writing a review of a kids channel. But believe me at my house no one is of the age below 20, but still most of the time you can see Cartoon Network, Discovery and National Geographical Channel being played. The policy is simple, laugh and be happy. Don’t Worry be Happy

Though, I usually don’t get time to watch much of the shows, but when ever I am at home, I make it a point to see at least one good show and 30 minutes of freaking out on the various mischievous of Tom and Jerry or the wacky sense of Humour of Garfield.

Some of the fantastic shows are:

Garfield
This cat has got a great sense of humour and along with his boss John and his buddy, whom he loves to hate Odie the dog, has been my Favourites. The voice used for Garfield is really great; it has perfectly suited the character of Garfield. Garfield’s is a sleepy, egoistic and arrogant cat, who loves his Master John but likes to trouble him lot. Should not miss this naughty cat. It is like my cat, who troubles me a lot.

The all time cartoon, which has been the favourites of many. Their mischievous can never be forgotten.

Bugs & Daffy Show

It’s a love hate relationship for Bugs Bunny, I hate him but also love the way he plays pranks on his buddies, duck, the pig and the shooter.



Top Cat

This is an a egoistic Alley cat who along with his friends trouble the Cop, Officer Devil and makes him go bonkers with his Mischievous. This group of cats really know how to trouble officer devil and make him wild. The voices used on these cats are amazing. I can’t stop laughing. But now I don’t get time to watch this because it comes in the morning.

Apart from these you have others:

1. The Mask
2. The Popeye Show : The guy with Spinach Strength

They used to show Adventures of Tintin, but now they have stopped airing it. I am waiting for Astriex & Obliex, Phantom, and Mandrake the magician

Apart from that Cartoon Network also plays some classic war movies on TCM which is the partner. For people who like classic war movies can carry a popcorn and start watching it.


Its definitely a channel which make you laugh and make your life merrier and happy.

We already in reality have so much of Corruption, dowry, rape, scams why do we need to watch it again on television. You have hard day, and when you come home you need something to cheer up and not cry and become sad watching those “Saas(Mother-in-law)” serials. (Though I am not offending anyone but it is a personal opinion)

Though you have nice comedy serials on other channels like 3rd rock from the sun, Friends, Whose Line is it anyway. A cartoon a day keeps doctor away.

Try this small test, and make your day happy and merrier

In the morning when you get a newspaper instead reading about scams, rapes, corruptions etc, Enjoy the cart
oons and start your day laughing, believe me your day will go happy and nice. IF you have exams or going for an interview watch 5mins of Cartoon Network or 5mins reading those cartoons on the Newspaper and see how your mind is relaxed.
