Advantages: keeps the kids entertained

Disadvantages: some of the cartoons are a little dodgy

Just recently I was laid up in bed recovering from a minor op. I have 3 boys under 8 and it was the school half term. I was in no fit state to look after them and wanted only to lay in bed in peace and queit....FAT CHANCE!

I suggested they watch tv, and god bless Cartoon Network! They were silent, entertained and hopefully watching something that was suitable for their age groups. This certainly made me wonder why I had never suggested this idea to them before. At least I now know what they will be doing during the long school holiday aheed if the weather is terrible and I want a little peace!

To the person who started cartoon network...... thank you for my sanity
