Advantages: eductional programs

Disadvantages: the presenters are just to happy first thing in the morning

Cbeebies

Cbeebies is a TV channel designed for pre school children. It was launched in February 2002, the channel is produced by the bbc.
It is on air from 6am till 7pm every night (which is great for me as these are the hours my children are awake)

Cbeebies try to offer a good mix of educations and fun programs for the children. The schedule is the same weekdays with a different schedule for weekends .

One week days the programs are broken down in to sections
From 6am to 9am is Get Set Go! From the programs shown in this time my children favourite has to be Tikkabillka and Mr Tumble which is one of my favs

From 9am to 3.pm is discover and do with programs like big cook little cook and bits and bobs. the only problem I find with this is that the 9 to 12 programming is repeated from 12 noon to 3pm.

From 3pm to 6pm is Big fun time, with programs like something special and come outside which are educational programs.

From 6pm to 7pm is bedtime hours where the programs are relaxing and story based like 64 zoo lane.

I must say I do like cbeebies as a lot of the programs are educational and not cartoons full of fighting. I like the fact that a lot of the programs are great to sit and watch with you children and to chat about.

Also this channel a mums best friends for that 5 mins to run around and get some jobs done or to get dressed or just to take five

Summary: a great channel to watch with the little ones
