One of the first things I do when I get up in the morning is check the ceefax, even though many of us have the World Wide Web. I still find this service a great help, it is easy and though there many disadvantage in comparison to the internet, in that is slow, and the information is limited. I find still find it very useful because it is updated very quickly.

I particularly use it for checking the football headlines, and living in the northwest, they tend to have the local sporting news in contrast to the whole of the country, and then they tend to focus on your team more. With technology improving I can see this service expanding and becoming better.

These days almost every programme has a ceefax page so you can check the additional information, like the cooking programmes have the recipes which is helpful as it is almost impossible to write down the instructions when the programme is on.


This service is free and if you look in the index section you can see what they have to offer, and believe me there is something for everyone, for instance if you want to check the TV listings. You can hold the pages so if you want to read a page.

I would say that it can be made a little faster than what it is, but I am sure that with the new technology revolution it will improve. For convenient I would recommend this site.
