I had known about the existence of Challenge for a long time, ever since it had that square red logo. However my lack of cable or Sky subscription meant I could never watch it. I got a pleasant surprise in March when I suddenly found Challenge sitting at number 46! Sky has had a shakeup of their channels and have bought a group of ... Read the complete review

They just don't make quiz shows like they use to, with the surge in reality television, the traditional game shows we all loved to watch have most definetly declined. Challenge TV available on satellite & cable however allows you to relive the best of the gameshow era by reshowing these on the 24 hours entertainment ... Read the complete review

I think this has to be one of my favourtie channels on Sky because they show all the old school quiz and entertainment shows which you just don't see on TV anymore. The programmes tend to be all repeats with the occasional new show but no one seems to care as these old programmes are brilliant and much more entertaining than ... Read the complete review

We’ve had Sky TV for a couple of months now, and although there is a plethora of hundreds of different channels, I don’t know about you, but I find that there are only enough hours in the day to watch a few channels regularly. There was just something so magical about the early 1980's on television. I used to sit up for hours at my grans house watching everything from 'Tales of the unexpected' to 'The Hammer House of Horrors', but out of all the Saturday nights viewing there was one program that burnt an image on my mind..... ... I don't get satellite any more. I refuse to put money into Rupert Murdoch's back pocket, but I used to watch it when I lived with my mum in a semi-detached house in Eastbourne (now there's two real confessions - lived with his mum and lived in Eastbourne!!!) Noel's Telly Addicts was never a great piece of television - it was a cheap quiz show filler for a weekday evening. I have been watching Challenge TV for about 1 1/2 months now. It is a channel entirely devoted to repeats of game and quiz shows, which were all originally shown on terrestrial TV. If you like game shows, you'll love this channel. If you like watching repeats of old game shows, such as 3-2-1 and Catchphrase when it was presented by Roy Walker, then you'll never want to leave the house again.
