These are just a couple of the things you will come across on this amazing programme...

Each week you are given an insight into the lives of the residents of the Hamptons. The Hamptons is an area of New York about 90 miles away from the city centre. This is where all the ultra-rich spend their weekends. A typical house cost a few million. However there are many properties worth around $75,000,000.00+, including a magnificent property owned by Steven Speilberg. The most amazing thing about this is that the homes are only used at weekends in the hot weather which is around 30 weekends a year.

As well as the rich and famous we also come across people who spend their weekends in the party-mad sharehouses. These are properties that are rented out for around $3,000 per summer per person. This doesn't sound much for the area but when you consider that the average number of people in a property is 35 and all they get each is a mattress in a room with 8 others, then it is pretty expensive. These sharehouses are mostly inhabited by the young and are used for crazy parties.

There is also an Englishman who is featured almost every week. I can't remember his name but he owns a nightclub in the Hamptons. This is no ordinary nightclub though this is for the richest of the rich and the cheapest bottle of champers will leave you $2,000 worse off. This is nothing though and he boasts of many clients who spend $20,000+ in a night. A couple of weeks back a waitress received a tip for $10,000.

Then there are the heirs and the rich kids. There is one girl in particular by the anme of Valerie who a few weeks back bought a necklace from the film Mission Impossible 2 for $400,000 even though she was looking at more expensive articles. She is ferried around in a Range Rover type limousene and is constantly going to or arranging parties.

There are many other characters and places to see but I would rather you watch it and see for yourself.
It is on a Tuesday night at different times but usually between 23.00 and 23.30.
