While the other channels battle over who broadcasts the likes of football and formula 1, Channel 4 sits back and relaxes, showing us the better things in life. Channel 4 has got everything someone of my generation could want, except sport... thank goodness!
I think channel 4 is fabulous. It shows all 3 of my favourite shows, ‘Dawson’s Creek’, ‘Friends’ and ‘Hollyoaks’. On Sundays, it is a pleasure to wake up to T4, which aims to please a bit more of an older audience than the weekend morning shows of ITV and BBC.
Their documentaries are also of a high standard, I am especially please with the ‘Generation Sex’ series, which is interesting fior those of my age and older people.
There is still is a little sport, with the Tour de France and Cricket shown on channel 4, but these are both for short lengths of time, so do not mess up the system of shows too badly.
They are making good new shows, still to please my generation. Programs like ‘Streetmate’, ‘Dinnerdates’ and ‘Flatmates’. There seem to be less adverts than ITV and far less than Sky 1. It is definitely the best of the bunch and has improved more and more over the years.
