Channel 5 had 5 stars (the full set of the Spice Girls) to launch it, and I guess that is the last time they will ever get a Five Star rating! Although the last terrestrial channel (if you do not count digital ITV & BBC offerings) it is very reminiscent of the early Satellite channels (some now defunct) of the early nineties. Low ... I seem to remember people getting very excited about Channel 5 being launched. Great things were promsied and, to the best of my knowledge, they have most definitely not delivered. Channel 5, ah yes, that ‘new’ channel. It’s funny how long it takes for a channel to shake off that label, isn’t it? Still, it does help the process when it broadcasts interesting and good quality programmes, something that Channel 5 seems to have a problem in accomplishing. In the mornings, you’d better ... Channel five gives a bad impression of the usually high quality British Television. I think this channel is around four years old now and I don't think I've ever watched the next episode on it because the programmes are so poor...the game shows are comparable to public access cable and the presenters ought to go back to what they were ...
