Discovery Wings is a great channel, providing you like aeroplanes and space travel. Yes, as the name may suggest this is a channel concerned wholey and solely with aeroplanes. Aeroplanes of every shape and size, military and civilian, new and old, prototypes, helicopters and even space crafts.

The quality of the programs are good, they are informative and interesting. Some of the better programs centre on the latest technology, usually by the US airforce, especially the stealth planes. As the programs concentrate on very specific things they contain a lot of detailed information, not just skimming over the issues as other shows on other channels do.

My only complaint would be the number of repeats on the channel, not only are shows repeated regulary, but every night the shows are repeated twice, ie. the channel airs from 6-12pm every night, so from 6-9pm and from 9-12pm the shows are the same, meaning all night viewing is not possible.

However, despite this the good points more than make up for the bad points, and although only shown on ONDigital this is a great channel.
