This channel should be re-named to the history channel, because it provides excellent information about the past - much better than the actual history channel. It is a great channel for everyone interested in famous events in the past, such as the world wars and of course famous discoveries; and also of students studying history at any level.

Even unsual topics are covered - a contrast to the more common and obvious one such as famous discoveries. One such programme was on vampires - where they originated and who are the people who still study them today
