You definitely can learn something new everyday if you watch the Discovery channel. This in my opinion happens to be one of the best channels which Cable and Sky have to offer. This brilliant channel is a continuous provider of documentaries of everything.

Discovery helps you to discover the world without leaving your living room. Just to mention some of the things on Discovery there are documentaries on Sealife whether it be concentrating on Sharks or Whales and their different species. Previously there have been Shark weeks on Discovery where the whole week of viewing is devoted to finding out more about those underwater beasts. There are slots about insects, all mammals, birds, zoos, and even snakes, crocs and whatever else.

I think the main man of documentaries in whom is regular visitor to Discovery is Steve Irwin. The nutter from down under, the Crocodile hunter and that's no exaggeration. This wild Aussie insists on going to any lengths in order to hunt out crocs, alligators, deadly snakes or whatever else he can find to show us the viewers. He may seem mad and i wouldn't disagree but he knows his stuff about whatever species he finds.

I think Discovery is a great channel for learning more about the animal kingdom and if you fancy a change switch over t Discovery home and leisure, another high standard of channel to help with home tips.
