A great channel, somethine for all ages (Disney Channel)

Advantages: A good range of programs on 3 channels

Disney Channel is a kids channel available on Sky and possibly Virgin Media (i can't be certain about that).
Disney channel consists of a bunch of disney shows. There are not loads of shows, but the stuff they do have is usually good.
Their main shows at the minute are The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montana, Cory in the House, That's So Raven, Phineas and Ferb, Wizards of Waverly Place and a few more. These are all comedies and all original to Disney Channel. Most of the shows are about 20 minutes long. There are then some older shows which are not shown on Disney Channel as often, shows like Phil of the Future, Lizzy McGuire and American Dragon.
I can't take for anyone else, but i love all these shows. OK not every episode is good but overall they are usually a good laugh and you can just sit down and enjoy them.
I won't talk about each show as i would be writing a full blown essay if i did that.
As well as the normal shows, every so often, they will show DCOMs (Disney Channel Original Movies). These are movies made for the channel and not for the cinema. Movies like High School Musical 1 and 2, Camp Rock, Twitches and Twitches Too. These sorts of films are often shown on Friday evening and during the weekend but every so often they will have special events such as during halloween and christmas where the channel will change from its original schedule and show special episodes of shows and films.

Now this is just Disney Channel itself. Disney channel actually has another two channels, Disney Cinemagic and Playhouse Disney. Disney Cinemagic is a channel for more mainstream movies or original disney films like Bambi and Lion King. Also on the channel are other disney shows, animated shows like Recess.

Playhouse Disney is for the young ones to enjoy. Shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins.

All three of these channels runs most of the day. The shut down at midnight and start up again at 6am.

I don't watch Playhouse disney, but i often watch Disney Channel and sometimes Cinemagic and they are both good channels. But what makes them even better is there are no adverts. None whatsoever. Of course disney have their own adverts for shows but they get money from the sky subscription you pay.

Summary: You will usually find something to watch on disney channel, and it is likely to get you laughing.
