Advantages: great shows

Disadvantages: there are a lot of repeats

The Disney Channel is a channel that has been around for years. My daughter watches it now all the time and i can remember watching it when i was a little girl-teenager. It is always on in our house and definitely keeps my daughter entertained. It was good when i was a child with shows like Boy Meets World and Teen Angel and Smart Guy and now it is still producing great shows for all children such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana. It offers a wide range of comdey shows and also shows programmes for theyounger children such as Mickey Mouse's Playhouse and Winnie the Pooh. It also has a plus one channel so if you have missed something you can catch it an hour later. There is also Disney Cinemagic which shows great Disney films.
Another good thing about the Disney Channel is that it produces great family entertainment films such as High School Musical and Camp Rock. My daughter could happily watch it all day long andi find some of the shows quite entertaining also.
It does however repeat alotof its shows over and over again so youmay end up watching the same episode a few times. Some shows verge on the ridiculous but then that is what kids like...silly humour and the Disney Channel delivers good shows.
