Flicking through the various channels on Sky Digital, a program jumped out called Caitlin’s Way, I was drawn to the program because my daughters name is Caitlin.
At first I couldn’t get into the story as I didn’t see it from the start until they decided to repeat the series. Caitlin (played excellently by Lindsey Felton) is a troublesome teenager who has spend most of her life going from foster home from foster home. Her main hobby is photography, after an incident which ended up with a car crashing into the photography store she is faced with the choice of Juvenile Hall or to go and live with her distance relatives in Montana.
She chooses the latter. She finds life at first hard in Montana, all the kids are hard on her and see her as a criminal. Dori and Jim Lowe (played by Cynthia Belliveau and Ken Tremblett) have there work cut out as at times Caitlin can be very hot headed when things don’t go her way. Her cousin Griffin Lowe (played by Jeremy Foley) does not take to her at first until she stands by him and takes the blame for some trouble he has been in. Caitlin is saved from a wolf by a wild horse, which she decides to keep and calls it Bandit from a story her mam used to tell her.
Caitlin goes through various encounters in trying to settle in a strange land, each one giving her an new insight on life and drawing her closer to her new family. Gradually she starts to settle in and the kids see her in a different light.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately, I don't have the Disney Channel, so I won't be able to see the programme. Cheryl.
