The Disney Channel has 4 channels on Sky Digital, which is great, if you are a little kid, as I am nearly 19, it is not the most watched channel. I have seen Playhouse Disney, and if I was a small child I would love it! but since I am not, it is not any good to me. The Disney Channel and +1 (the same schedule but repeated one hour ... I have never subscribed to the Disney Channel, as it is part of the movie-package, and is not included with the sports package. But, every now and again, they allow a weekend of viewing for free, which is good. From, what I have seen of it, it seems very good. Lots of stuff for the kids, like Disney cartoons, game-shows, ... Let's face it - when you think of Disney, you think of quality. What's great abot the Disney channel is that you can sit the kids in front of it safe in the knowledge that they will not see anything unsuitable or untoward. Since the Disney channel has started I have found it a good channel to watch they show a lot of good programs and they show you films that Walt Disney had made which they said will never be on tv. They show a film nearly every night i.e. peter pan, snow white and films like that. It is a good channel for the whole family to watch. ... Read the complete review

The disney channel is a perfect subscription channel if you are a family with children under the age of 15. At 5 pounds a month on Sky Digital, it really is good value for money. There are high quality programmes, not just disney cartoons (though they are good too!), and the best of all, at least one brilliant disney movie on each ... Read the complete review

I do not have any kids (I like them, but I couldn't manage to eat a whole one!) so I did not actually subscribe to the Disney Channel. However, if you go for SKY Digital's movie package, they throw it in for free! I can see that the near endless diet of cartoons for brats (sorry, I mean children!) are, at least, superior in ... I have 3 kids, they are aged 8, 5 and 17 months and all I can say is thank god for the Disney Channel. Weekday mornings are the domain of the pre schooler.
