Advantages: First Look episodes, good shows

Disadvantages: Maybe time to stop the Friends reruns?

E4 is one of the digital channels available from Channel 4. Available on Sky, Virgin Media and Freeview (and any other digital companies that may be out there) it is a fresh, funky channel.
From early morning until around 10am, E4 plays music videos. These are not necessarily your usual top 40 pop songs, but tend to be more indie type tracks, but the odd poppy type song is thrown in now and then.
The programs that E4 show are a lot of the American teen dramas, other American sitcoms, and some of the British shows that tend to be aimen at a younger audience (saying that though, they are not shows made just for the under 25's!!)
Particular shows currently airing on E4 at the moment are One Tree Hill, The OC, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and many more.
E4 tends to get a lot of First Look shows, which means they air an episode of a show either a week or a day before Channel 4, so if you cant wait for the next episode of a show, check out E4. They also show daily First Look episodes of Hollyoaks, so you can watch one episode on Channel 4, then turn over to E4 and catch the next episode straight away without having to wait.
E4 is renowned for its Friends reruns! Every day of the week there are 2 episodes of Friends shown back to back.
During Big Brother season, E4 is the place to watch if you are addicted! They show live feed all morning, then there are catch up shows and other Big Brother shows throughout the afternoon and evening such as Big Brothers Big Mouth.
All in all, a good channel. I actually watch it more than Channel 4.
