Entertainment galore on E4 (E4)

Advantages: Great shows, comedy and excitement, lots of repeats if you've missed something

Disadvantages: A lot of double bills and repeats

It has to be said that E4 is by far my favourite TV channel, with Channel 4 coming in at a close second, as they show many of the same programmes. I switch on E4 as soon as I get in from work every evening and it usually doesn't go off until I go to bed at night (or until my husband comes in and turns the sports channels on!).

At the moment in the evenings, they are generally showing double bills of series such as Friends, Scrubs and My Name is Earl, along with the first look of Hollyoaks every night at 7 pm. Popular new series they are showing at the moment include 90210, The Inbetweeners, Dirty Sexy Money and Samantha Who?. They also show a lot of repeats so if you have missed that all important episode on Channel 4 or E4 you can usually find it sometime during the week showing again on E4.

I think E4 is more aimed towards young adults and their shows are mainly American based series or comedies, which I love so this channel is perfect for me. Even the adverts advertising E4 are comical with silly cartoons or a guy with a moustache and a really deep voice telling you what you can see. When they introduce the programmes they usually add a funny little quip in which gives the channel that extra little quirk that other channels don't have.

E4 is available on Freeview channel 29 which is great as it means you aren't charged for it. All you need is a Freeview box or most TVs now come with Freeview already installed. You can also get E4 + 1 on channel 30 which shows everything an hour later than E4, which is great in case you've missed something.

E4 is full of fun and exciting entertainment and if you enjoy any of these shows, then it's a must have channel for you.
