Film 4 is a free British TV channel, showing films (no real surprise there!) and is found on channel 300 when using freesat, but is also available on freeview and sky. The channel is owned and operated by Channel 4, and so is its partern channel Film 4+1, which shows programs on Film 4 one hour later. What sort of films are ... Read the complete review

Film 4 is a channel which currently shows on Freeview and cable television. As the name states, this is a channel that provides films for viewers to watch. I often enjoy the late night movies that this channel offers, and often have some great films, but during the days, I am not really impressed with the choice of films. I often find ... Film 4 is a fairly new great channel now available on free view owned and operated by channel 4.It broadcasts from 1pm till roughly 9am. 'Unlike its rivals, Film4 does not focus on broadcasting blockbusters. Instead, it aims for a more niche and highbrow market by showing a mixture of old and new independent, art house, British, foreign ... Read the complete review

What I like about Film 4- ~ They show some of the more obscure great films you would have never experienced otherwise ~ Because of this they have built up a brand name for thought provoking, cutting edge films, so movies shown on the channel are almost given the Film 4 seal of quality ~ I have loved nearly all the ... ...The only terrestrial film channel Film4 is a UK movie channel located on Freeview channel 32, Freesat channel 300, and Sky Digital channel 315. Film 4 started as a channel which you had to pay extra for but since then it has become free of charge and is included in sky, virgin and freeview. It shows a range of films of many genres and has broadcast some classics throughout it's time. You get some older films such as 20 000 leagues under the sea and some newer such as monster in law. When it was first launched you had to subscribe to Film 4 if you wanted to watch it however these days it is included in my basic cable TV package which I have with Virgin. I never saw the need to pay a subscription for it so never watched it in those days and going on the overall quality of the movies it has I'm glad I did not. This is ... Read the complete review

I remember not so long ago when Film4 was a pay per view channel. I think the subscription was about £6 per month. Although I was never a subscriber I used to regularly check what films were showing on the channel at the time. There would always be something of interest. There would always seem to be at least one film that I would have gladly sat ... Read the complete review

Sorry. After FilmFour changed their channel line up last year, in which they ditched Filmfour Wolrd and Extreme, and decided to have FilmFour Weekly, a token channel with the same three films being shown every night for a week I can no longer recommend this channel (and ditched it shortly after the change). Hopefully they will have lost ... Read the complete review

Film Four is a dedicated movie channel run by chanel four and is available through digital and cable television services. This is an absolutely brilliant channel, not many of my friends subscribe to it and we don’t unless there’s a really good month of film, especially in the cold winters night. But if you think about it works out cheaper than renting a film out say twice a week because for £5.99 per month you can get up to 6 or 7 ... Read the complete review

FilmFour, is THE best channel on cable/sat. How many times have you watched a Bruce Willis film and thought "Oh how did he survive that", well the answer, apartfrom he was wearing his vest, is that it is Hollywood. Now, FilmFour on the other hand, is the prime of European films in which Bruce Willis would have died when a piano fell on ... Read the complete review

In order to receive FilmFour you have to pay an extra £6 a month, but this is without a doubt the most worthwhile £6 a month that can be spent when it comes to subscription TV channels. I opted for this channel when I took out a digital subscription, having been enticed by the slick marketing. To be honest though, it's not my cup of tea, and I've hardly watched it, so it's been a complete waste of money for me. There always seems to be something that I'd rather watch on another film channel. Having said ... Read the complete review

In my opinion Film Four is one big rip off. Have you noticed that channel 4 doesn’t show any decent films any more, they were always showing some really great films? Then it stopped, and they bought out Film Four. Basically all they have done is put the films on Film Four, then they are charging people for the privilege. We ... Read the complete review

For the first two months you subscribe to Film Four provides what it promises "The Best Films You Know, and those you dont", however their schedule gets very repatative and I think that they are not updated thoroughly enough.
