One trick wonder (Five)

It is only since we got cable TV that I have been able to watch channel five as when we relied on a normal aerial it was not possible to get any sort of picture and indeed still to this day the small portable upstairs in the bedroom which is not hooked up to the cable does not get a clear picture just a load of fuzz.

To be honest going on the quality of the shows on Five we had not been missing anything and these days the only programme I do watch on Five is CSI Vegas whic is a pretty good show. The new series is currently being shown on a Tuesday night at 21.00 while the New York version of CSI is shown on a Saturday night so I rarely get to see that.

There was a bit of a fanfare recently as they got Neighbours but that was probably due to the fact that the British love affair with Aussie soaps died a long time ago.

They do have the occasional film on every so often and they do a bit of sport coveridge although it is mostly American sport and a bit of football but overall if it was not for CSI I would not really switch the channel on.

Summary: Poor fifth channel
