Advantages: Good resource if theres nothing else on Tele

Disadvantages: Cant record the films on the digital version

Front Row is just like Sky Box Office; you pay £2.99 for a movie and then sit down and watch it. It’s a great way to watch films especially if you don’t want to fork out all that money for movie channels.

They have loads of the latest films, what tends to happen is a few weeks after a film is released on video it appears on Front Row. To keep track of what’s on Front Row you can look at the Front Row promotional channel [Channel 50] Alternatively find out what’s on by checking local press, the Radio Times have listings or look at the CHOICES magazine all ntl: customers get with their bills each month.

Front Row has 4 channels on analogue cable, on digital there are 100 Front Row channels so there’s more choice of when you want to watch a film and there’s a huge choice of films to choose from. The only problem with Front Row on digital is that they have something called Micro vision which means you cant record your film.

Front Row is great, if there’s nothing on all the main channels pick a film to watch on front Row.

The selection on digital isnt much better, they just show a lot more older films!

I have been generally disappointed with the selection of movies on Front Row. However, we are going over to Digital shortly so hopefully that situation will improve.
