Ideal WorldNewest Review: ... my call to say that they had received the returned item but had made a mistake and sent me a refund instead - but not the Special Delivery mail costs. They said I could have a replacement but as it was a new order I would not be allowed Flexipay over 3 months as it was not available now on this product - I would have to pay £149.99 plus postage and packing of £5.95 as it was a new order!! I ordered a Ubisurfer netbook for £150 - payable over 3 monthly payments of £50 under their Flexiplay scheme. The Ubisurfer was faulty when it arrived - its battery would not charge enough for more than 15 minutes usage - and so I rang for a replacement. I was asked to return it to their Peterborough, UK address by Royal Mail special delivery and that they would refund the cost of return - £8.95. At the time of writing I have not had this postage refunded. I rang Customer Services to see when I would get my replacement. I spoke to a lady at their Indian call centre who had clearly limited authority who said replacements take 14 days. I could not speak to a ... Read the complete review

I ordered a steam generator iron 23 october, it was sent to the wrong address, and it has just taken me twelve phonecalls and being cut off four times and them not able to hear me 7 times, they finally heard me when i said 'If you tell me you can't hear me i'm suing you'. Said they will refund in 10 days into my bank account. Assured them that if it doesn't appear in my bank i will sue them. I think small claims court has to be over £100 which mine wasn't. Disgusted at their lack of service. Felt very sorry for the last lady i spoke to who was very kind. Shall rescind if she doen't replace my money as promised. DON'T EVER USE THEM!

Ideal World is a home shopping channel which is viewable on Freeview channel 22, Sky channel 644, and Virgin Media channel 747. They sell a large variety of items covering electrical, crafts, IT equipment, garden plants, fashion, kitchenware, as well as various other items. Earlier in the month while I was channel surfing, something caught my eye, it was something on Ideal World. A pair of Hawaiian Palms which are rare decorative houseplant, for sale at the very reasonable price of £24.99. I say very reasonable as I've seen these plants from several online retailers starting at £19.99 each (before postage) which makes Ideal Worlds price well - ideal. ... Read the complete review

Like the other review. I also ordered the Bissell Proheat 2x 9200E carpet cleaner with a bonus 3 free wash and protect solution from Ideal World back on the 18th April 2009. Like the other reviewer, I never received the bonus 3 pack wash and protect. Upon speaking to Ideal World CS in India several times and sending countless nos of e-mails I was promised numerous times that the solution would be sent out to me. Still nothing after 6 months. As a last ditch attempt I wrote a letter 4 weeks ago to the Head of CS. I finally got a call from them apologizing for the error and was advised that they would refund me £20.00. Persistance pays off I received the £20.00 seven ... Read the complete review

I have been an Ideal World customer for many years but I was so annoyed with the service I received today that I not only rang customer services to complain, I cancelled my order and cancelled my membership. Through no fault of my own, while ordering something today, their systems were down and I was told to hang on, which stupidly, I did and I was using my mobile. The call cost me £7 and they had the cheek to then ask me to phone back to make sure the order had been placed properly. I will never shop with them again. QVC and the bid channels are far superior and I have had wonderful service frrom them. Ditch Ideal World - they are rubbish.
