Bad Customer Service (Ideal World)

Disadvantages: Impossible to deal with

Bought a £200 steam iron from Ideal World which was damaged on arrival. They will not replace until they have collected the origional.
Two arranged collection dates has passed and now a promise of another collection date next week then 14 - 21 days for a new Iron ( that is if they make the 3rd collection date)
Talking to India on a 0700 number with lots and lots of music does not help as they don't understand that in the UK you need an Iron.
Calls to the UK operation (again a chargeable 0700 number) have yet to obtain the promised return telephone call.
Avoid at all cost.
