Disadvantages: High prices; premium rate phone nos; and DON'T credit your card, on cancelled orders!

My advice to all potential customers of Ideal World - DON'T BUY A SINGLE ITEM FROM THEM! I have ordered 2 items - one of whcih I returned on the same day as I received it and it took them over 6 MONTHS to credit my Credit Card and that was ONLY after a threatening letter I asked the Daily Mail Judge to send them! The other item, which I wrongly ordered on-line, I telephoned and e-mailed their Customer Services within 2 minutes of 'ordering' the wrong item, I was told that my order was cancelled - I even got an e-mail confirming that my order had been cancelled (even before it had had a chance of being processed!). However, yet again, my Card was charged immediately, but after 3 weeks of phone calls and e-mails, I still have NOT RECEIVED ANY REFUND! Please steer clear of IDEAL WORLD CHANNEL.

Summary: Verging on illegal practice.
