Not so Ideal these days. (Ideal World)

Advantages: Still some fun presenters (Shaun, Loen) and occasionally an interesting product of two.

Disadvantages: Kacher, craft, Pocket Surfer, craft, ladder, craft, Bissel, craft, craft. And craft.

I have watched Ideal World since the very first day (we received a letter from the great Steve 'Watters' Whatley' telling us about the channel prior to the launch) and it used to be brilliant entertainment.
I know that might sound like a strange thing to say about a shopping channel, but the presenters always had a good laugh, and you couldn't help but join in at home. There was always a wide range of products and the most enjoyable show was Whatters Crazeee (Christmas) Saturday Nights.

These days however it's a different story. A lot of the fun presenters have left and variety has gone out of the window. You can't turn the channel on without being confronted by Karcher, the Pocket Surfer, 13-in-1 ladder or bloody craft. They have their own craft channel yet insist on showing it on Ideal World for hours everyday.
Saying that, the craft hours used to be fun in the Alan and Barry days. Not any more.

In the last few weeks it actually seems to be improving. Suddenly a lot of new products have appeared. It remains to be seen whether this will continue, or if we'll just have these same new products pushed in our faces everyday for the next year.

Summary: Used to be great but has gone downhill very quickly.
