Advantages: If the product worked it would be a hell of an advantage.

Disadvantages: Stopped working after less than 15 operations and within 30 days of purchase.

I ordered a Halogen Oven, from Ideal World, following a television presentation at the end of July 2009, cost £59.99 plus postage and packing £5.95. It was delivered between the 5th and 7th August 2009, as it advertised with a full 30 day money back guarantee so we decided to use it as much as possible to determine if it was as good as the claims stated. In less than 3 weeks we used it less than 15 times despite looking for things to cook to ensure we tested the product to its limit. Well, midway through cooking a large piece of roast beef on 26th August 2009, it refused to work anymore, I inspected and tested the original fuse in another appliance, the other appliance worked well, replaced fuse with new fuse, product failed to work. Clearly, an internal fault exists that is beyond the consumer. I returned the product yesterday at a cost of £13.00 that I want recompense for. My advice to anyone who intends purchasing this item in the future would be, test it to the maximum, cook as many things as possible to ensure it dosen`t breakdown within the 30 day period, also forget the suggested cooking times, we found they were either to long or to short. Furthermore, the product was advertised last night for £12.00 less than I paid less than 4 weeks ago. Should Ideal World not reinburse me in full, I will contact the consumer magazine WHICH to whom I subscribe.

Summary: Be very cautious about making this purchase and test it to the maximum.
