My worst shopping experience Monday 14/09/09
Ideal World is the worst shopping channel I have used. I ordered a Bissell Proheat 2x 9200E carpet cleaner with a bonus 3 free wash and protect. The reviews on this product are excellent, but I can't make any comment on this as I am still waiting for the wash and protect formula to arrive. I sent 3 e-mails and made four telephone calls to their customer services. The e-mails got no response and the telephone calls just false promises. Each time I was given a date they would arrive, but still nothing. My account was debited for this product in July. I asked to speak to the Manager of CS, but was told this wasn't possible, but that they would call me within 48 hours. Still nothing. Why has this formula not been sent? Do they treat all their customers this way? I feel they are paying for people just to answer the telephones, because there is certainly NO service. I have used QVC and Bid-up and had 100% satisfaction. I advise anyone to think twice before ordering from Ideal World.

Like the other review. I also ordered the Bissell Proheat 2x 9200E carpet cleaner with a bonus 3 free wash and protect solution from Ideal World back on the 18th April 2009. Like the other reviewer, I never received the bonus 3 pack wash and protect. Upon speaking to Ideal World CS in India several times and sending countless nos of e-mails I was promised 4 times that the solution would be sent out to me and even upon one occasion accused of lying even though I had electronic proof of my order and a snapshot of the details from website at the time. Still nothing after 6 months. As a last ditch attempt I wrote a letter 4 weeks ago to the Head of CS. I received a call today from CS apologizing and was this time advised that they would refund me £20.00 ,the value of the carpet wash solution at the time. This should take up to 10 days. I will believe it when I see it. But after 6 months of chasing, if it does, persistance pays off. Needless to say I won't be ordering any further items from Ideal World. Stick to QVC who provide 100% satisfaction. Any problems get resolved quickly and money is refunded efficiently they also have from my experience a helpful CS in Liverpool.

i tried to talk to a sperviser who told me that i couldn't cancel my order or get a refund until i had rec the order. i asked her if she enjoyed her job and if she knew what people expect from a c.s. dept because i didn,t seem to be getting any help from them, she just said she understood why i was upset. It,s a pity you can,t get intouch with Ideal world then i could have been annoyed with them rather than the poor girl who was just trying to do her job.
