I ordered a steam generator iron 23 october, it was sent to the wrong address, and it has just taken me twelve phonecalls and being cut off four times and them not able to hear me 7 times, they finally heard me when i said 'If you tell me you can't hear me i'm suing you'. Said they will refund in 10 days into my bank account. Assured them that if it doesn't appear in my bank i will sue them. I think small claims court has to be over £100 which mine wasn't. Disgusted at their lack of service. Felt very sorry for the last lady i spoke to who was very kind. Shall rescind if she doen't replace my money as promised. DON'T EVER USE THEM!

I have been an Ideal World customer for many years but I was so annoyed with the service I received today that I not only rang customer services to complain, I cancelled my order and cancelled my membership. Through no fault of my own, while ordering something today, their systems were down and I was told to hang on, which stupidly, I did and I was using my mobile. The call cost me £7 and they had the cheek to then ask me to phone back to make sure the order had been placed properly. I will never shop with them again. QVC and the bid channels are far superior and I have had wonderful service frrom them. Ditch Ideal World - they are rubbish.

The ever so kind bosses have decided to take the customer service back over to India.. I called up this morning and after being put on hold for 15 minutes i asked to speak to someone English, to which i was told that there is no more English call centre.
It is utterly ridiculous.. How on earth can these none english speaking people deal with our complaints!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring the customer service back to the UK before you lose all of your customers. I personally will not be ordering again.. The service is bad enough without having to call India to chase it.. I suppose its all about money?? But what about keeping the customers happy??
At least when it was in UK they would deal with it best they could and you could understand them!!! UTTER MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They take your money, don't deliver your product and getting a refund is a nightmare!
I order a Karcher Pressure Washer, it never arrived after many phone calls to a call centre in India where no one has a clue lasting a minimum of 20-30mins at 10p a min still no joy.
They tell you to get a refund they send you a form to fill in which will take up to 10 days for you to receive and then another 10 working days for a refund. By this point your cancellation rights have gone. Sorry your out of your cancellation period you will have to wait now for the product.
Two months later still no product! Still no Refund!

These people are not to be trusted!
DO NOT USE!

ORDER FROM THESE CRETINS AT YOUR PERIL!!!!
I would advise against ordering from this shopping channel because if you develop a fault and eventually manage to speak to a normal human being who advises you to return the product I doubt you will ever see the product again.

bought an acer notebook from ideal world --the battery refused to charge.
required a refund but told to send it on to the manufacturer for repair.
it appears ideal world are buying dud items then selling them on to unaware customers.
has any one else had this problem.
when ringing up to complain and ask for head office telephone numbers ,there does not appear to be any one knows whom they are employed by.

i have subscribed to creat and craft club 6 weeks ago and have yet to get into the club site i can log into the shopping site but never the club its cost me an arm and a leg to call them , more than the cost of the subscription , i joined last year and never got in and thought it was my pc but have since changed my pc and still cant get in , i am not amused as myself and my friend both have tried , have sent emails and either got no reply or how to log in to the shopping chanel also i still dont have a disc as well . bad place to shop for me.

I had a steam generator iron from ideal world. the 4th time I used it it leaked and spat hot water everywhere. They came and collecteed it from me over 2 weeks ago . I asked for a replacement. Heard nada..didly squat. Theya re a sham. They took the money quick enough.. Is there no law to protect us. You here the presenters drone on and on bore you to death with how great they are. Misrepresentaton. are they governed by no one. DONT GO THERE. I could have been badly burned.

I would like to comment on ideal world shopping channell if you want to return goods you have to find a post office not handy these days as they are closing quite a few of them also if you have to phone it costs dearly especially if you are left hanging on the line for 25 minutes if you email it takes at least 7 days to get a reply I have ben emailing since November and still do not have a satisfactory answer I will never ever buy from them again
