I would like to comment on ideal world shopping channell if you want to return goods you have to find a post office not handy these days as they are closing quite a few of them also if you have to phone it costs dearly especially if you are left hanging on the line for 25 minutes if you email it takes at least 7 days to get a reply I have ben emailing since November and still do not have a satisfactory answer I will never ever buy from them again

Ideal World your joking ....this company is a sham .Customer service is a farce.I strongly advise of ordering anything from this so called company , There is no way to contact them without spending 10 pence a minute on phone calls and your kept waiting for ages and if you email them you get an automated response. They also tell you anything to get rid of you and are not interested in aiding the customer in anyway shape or form.They want to take a note of Amazon customer service and also Amazon prices are very difficult to beat .. So be warned shop at your peril .at hell world... overall rating they are of the scale

DO NOT BUY FROM IDEAL WORLD!!The customer service at Ideal World is none existent. I ordered some Samy products 21st Nov 08 but the main item was missing from the box. Most times I call customer services I am kept on hold for 15mins then cut off. When I finally get through I am given a different story by each person. I'm still waiting for the product and I've been told it will be with me by Xmas. Once it arrives I will return everything (already used) for a full refund, I had to ask for this remedy as none was offered. i brouight a AAA tanzanite cluster ring its the palest of pale pink on the invoice it stated AAA no colour ..How come the ring shown on the tv demo was a beautiful deep colour we expect ??? i sent an e mail and got an automated reply . saying my email would be dealt with in 7 days time ... some hope i think . surely they are breaking trade description laws on this ring item no 143042

I ordered a large outdoor helcopter for a christmas gift, when it arrived it was broken so ive had to send it back and was told that a new one would be sent out as soon as it arrived back to them but still waiting for it. Every time i phone up to ask about the delivery of my item i am told to phone back in 72 hours and they will have an answer for me about the delivery date and im told to do this each time i phone and still have had no sucess. now the item is not likely to come before christmas

I have given Ideal World so many chances and they still let me down , big time. At one time they had over £100 of my money because of faulty goods that caused me injury and when I tried to sort this out thier customer service department outright lied to me. I sometimes watch ideal world if there is nothing on tv and if there is something which may be interesting to me on the channel but i don't normally buy anything from it (partly because they do not accept form of payment which is Solo) but once i saw these christmas and present bows which you sort of do yourself. Ordered the Jerome Alexander 4 day Deal item on the 18 Sept, which obviously hasnt turned up. They have had my money since 20 Sept , but admit the item wasnt sent out until the 26 Sept ,Im sure there are rules regarding this ? I thought I had problems but reading some of the reviews here it seems I might have a long way to go to get recompense. Like everyone else Ive found the CS to be horrendous ,so I have escalated my complaint to my card issuer , and I am in the process of reporting them to Trading Standards ........
It says something about the amount of complaints they must get , when they say they will need 10 days to respond to an email.
I just wonder whether the people who sell on Ideal World are aware of how bad they are ?

Please don't be fooled by the slick and polished presenters from the Ideal World TV channel. Customer Service is simply the worst; if you want refunds, good luck, and be prepared for legal battles, or at least the threat thereof to have any chance. Always purchase by Credit Card, so that company can do the chasing! Even worse, the item you ordered just might never arrive. The TV Studio might be in Peterborough, the rest of the operation outsourced to India...
