Please don't be fooled by the slick and polished presenters from the Ideal World TV channel. Customer Service is simply the worst; if you want refunds, good luck, and be prepared for legal battles, or at least the threat thereof to have any chance. Always purchase by Credit Card, so that company can do the chasing! Even worse, the item you ordered just might never arrive. The TV Studio might be in Peterborough, the rest of the operation outsourced to India...

My advice to all potential customers of Ideal World - DON'T BUY A SINGLE ITEM FROM THEM! Absolutely disgusting service, they say item is with the courier when you contact the courier they have never received it from ideal world in the first place. I will never never buy from them again.

presenters on the whole very good but one or 2 really annoying products OK but I have had to return a few items - they're VERY slow at making refunds - sometimes I've had to chase them up craft products good - but watch prices! very high p&p - £3.95 for a single DVD! Useless company, placed an order online-got conformation that payment had been accepted then a few days later received an email saying that they had technical difficulties with the online system and to call the customer service centre to make payment. Yeah fine did this spoke to someone overseas who tried to charge me almost double my origonal order so had to argue to get it at the original price-assured delivery within 5-10 days still waiting, told to wait even longer and can't have a refund yet(more like if at all). sent email to head office, Attn: David Williams - Non-executive Chairman(no doubt wont ever hear from them). Will end up having to do a debit/credit card charge back through the bank.

I have been waiting for a refund since january which they insist was sent January 18th BUT IT NEVER REACHED MY ACCOUNT.I have rung and sent letters to their head office but still no joy. ringing India is rubbish they can`t solve a problem.but it seems no one else can either.I will stick to Q V C in future.

IDEAL WORLD........as 99% of other reviews have said DON'T USE THEM! no contact after countless e.mails, only parts of order received' no idea who their courier is as I was out when delivered. I agree with all the reviews about Ideal World. Their customer service is diabolical, and you are phoning India aswell, which is not good customer service in the first place. I agree with all the comment's from other customer's review's. It is hard to be understood when asking about product's. I dont bother ordering off ideal world now, to much hassle, dont even bother watching it now to boring, no variation on product's, spend maybe 1-2 hr's on the same product. ( got to give the presenter's a pat on the back must be hard talking about the same product for 1-2 hrs. Give me q.v.c any time excellent service and postage and package fair.

been watching idealworld for the past few years ever since its been on freeview, i have orderded a number of items on numerous ocassions & the ordering process is fine if your using in-first but soon as you speak to one of there customer service team..... it gose down hill fast. they dont understand you & vise-versa.

if you want to send any items back it takes a longtime to get a refund & the 0870 numbers is a joke !!!

Idealworld presenters spend to much time on any one item, there postage charges are excessive, but worst of all there customer service ( based in india) is utterley appauling.
they are no match for QVC who's customer service is second to none as well as the products they sell.

BEWARE BIGGEST CONMERCHANTS ON THE BUYING CHANNELS ABSOLUTE BEDLUM. I have purchased (sorry tried to) one item - landed up with several I did not order, and have had absolute hell in trying to recoupe my hard earned money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Call centre is not in this country, neither is their e-mail handling, nor customer services. You would have more success getting blood out of a stone. They also overkill on the selling by pushing you to buy other items you realy don't want, and when you say no thanks, they keep on with their jibber-jabber, and then the item lands up on your doorstep - TRY getting your money refunded - ENGLISH is not understood by them, especially the word NO. I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and WARN YOU NOT TO. The online presenters should stop working for them before Their reputation is ruined.

i bought some wine from ideal world,i have bought from qvc so i assumed that ideal world would be the same.after four months and about twenty phone calls they refunded some of my money they kept back postage .i explained that i did not get the wine,but it made no difference,i would never again deal with them.

I have been watching idealworld for some time now but recently have been very disappointed when you review one item for 1 hour. It's sooooo boring.It makes me search out other shopping channels that have more items in the hour.

I must say I do enjoy the items when its either Mr or Mrs Love presenting it.

So come on make it fun.

its not a good idea to buy anything from IdeaWorld as the service and delivery that they promise is a load of bunkam, I ordered a Sat-Nav on the 10th Feb with the promise that it would take 5/7 working days but now 11 working days later I am still waiting, and as for phoning customer services thats a joke, and on a premium rate as well, on QVC the phone is free and the service is fantastic, dont use IdealWorld I wont again and thats a promise, if they treat other people the same they should go out of business soon.

never have I come across so unprofessanal people before, the whole set up stinks, very fast to place a order then it all goes down hill they donot answer phones the donot answer e-mails you cannot get your money back with out filling in forms and they seem to take more orders then they can fill, do yourself a favour and leave well alone, it takes a lot for me to have a moan but this firm take the biscuit
