Ideal World Reviews

I placed an order on 9 December 2010 and asked for confirmation that it would be delivered before Christmas - I was given this assurance and confirmed the order. It is now 19.10 on 23 December 2010 and my order has still not been delivered. I know the weather conditions have been extremely bad but I have received orders from other suppliers (they have experienced the same weather conditions as Ideal World) - maybe they have better organisational skills! I have been promised call-backs from Customer Service which haven't happened - I can't get through to Customer Services any more and I am totally frustrated with the treatment I have received - I certainly won't be making any more purchases from your company.It would be good to receive a response but I most probably won't.Don't rate service at all - cancel star rating.Angela Carney

After reading the reviews on website, I an inclined to agree with the emails on the negative aspects of this so-called "shopping conning channel". Not only run by a load of "Arthur Daleys", but even the presenters are patronising. Should be shamed into trying to make accusations about the rubbish they sell. QVC gets full star rating, at least they make the effort whist Ideal stretch the truth. As for having to pay expensive phone calls, they are little more than rookies...should be taken off air and put in a reality show...where these amateurs belong. IDEAL WORLD IS RUBBISH!

This shopping channel is an absolute disgrace. It defies all business logic, customers are treated with utter disdain by complete morons. They seem to survive, as they attract hundreds of of new viewers to their presentations, a fact boasted about by their presenters. They don't deserve to survive in this economic climate and just reading various comments on this site comfirms this.All in all Disgusting after sales and some items very bad quality almost shoddy in appearance.Please take my advice and do not do business with them, this will be your best decision for many a year.

Please please please dont shop at Ideal World, the only thing there good at is taking your money, there goods are over priced, there phone lines are over priced , there customer service is a shany town in India, and they take weeks some times months to deliver if at all..........YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Have ordered a multi cooker on 29 nov, delivery was on 08 dec. On checking the website on 11 dec found that the tracking system showed item delivered on 10 dec. Raised a complaint and they said delivery within 3 days... and today on 15 dec it shows that the item was delivered yesterday 14 dec.raised a complaint against non delivery again today........I think i am on a wild goose chase...never again with them...i hope the item that they deliver works and is not a cheap imitation....ONE ADVISE FOR MYSELF>>>>>>LEAVE THEM ALONE.....NEVER AGAIN

I dont know if any one has noticed but Ideal World no longer give delivery times when ripping you off with there products, I've been waiting 3 weeks now for a Sat Nav...even taking into account the weather its ridiculous, Customer services dont reply by email , rang them a voice in broken English yaps on on on from a script, QVC are far superior I will never use Ideal World ever again they are the PITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so angry with customer services, I ordered an item on line and forgot to click flexi-pay, so I rang them immediately and they would not change it, they said nothing could be done as the order has been dispatched, what a load of rubbish, my order dispatched within 5 mins..I dont think so......I ask them to cancel and again they would not cancel - I have wrote to customer services telling them to cancel the order. What an appalling bunch of unhelpful people they are - if this had been QVC it would have not been a problem, QVC are more professional and they should learn from them. Well the saga continues....

I have to admit I feel strongly about this topic, as it's had me and my wife almost parted. Before purchasing anything from Ideal World, do one thing first , try and speak to their customer services- when you see what problems you get- then you will certainly think twice before parting with your hard earned cash. Ordering from this channel is a joke, Hanging baskets took so long to arrive it was too late to plant them, in addition gates were missing completely from one of the baskets, i have begged customer services to send me some(twice) but so far no luck. Its everything you order from this channel, postage very high for 5th if no class delivery, yes everything takes weeks to arrive if at all! nothing else for me from them, people be warned!! If i could give zero rating i would.

I "purchased" some products on ideal world some time back. The initial order never arrived, apparently more was sent. this never arrived. It took the threat of small claims court to resolve the issue.Avoid like something floating in a swimming pool

PLACED ORDER FOR KARCHER 3550 ON FRIDAY 3RD SEPT 2010, WILL BE DELIVERED IN TEN WORKING DAYS. BRILL, FANTASTIC, WICKEDTODAY SATURDAY 17TH SEPT 2010 NOT DELIVERED. I have used Ideal World three times. What a fool! The first time was to purchase a UbiSurfer. It arrived ok, it powered up ok, but could I get online, No. I called the Ubi helpline ( also in India ), there instructions was to power down, power up ! Did it then work, No. There 2nd line support called me 2 days later. It appears that they had not registered my unit with Vodaphone. By that time I was fed up and returned the unit.The next item was a potters wheel. It works, but also associated with the unit was a 4 hours training session with the supplier. Ideal World and the supplier (Potterycrafts of Staffordshire) are denying all knowledge. I am now threatening small claims.Lastly, some pottery tools, £16.98 from Ideal World. The same items and quality locally £2.99 !

i ordered 10 packs of 2 hanging baskets on the 25th july from garden bargains and was told they would be delivered within 2 weeks when after 2 weeks i phoned them complaining of the non delivery was told that they had just arrived into the nursery and they would be forthcoming after another 3 weeks and another 3 phone calls being told they will be there within 7 days finally on the 8th september i have given up on seeing my hanging baskets and asked for a full refund for the hanging baskets and the membership of there discount club because there is not a chance in hell that i will purchase anything from these cowboys again.I have given them one star only because there is no option to give them zero stars

Ideal world are a tv shopping channel which you can find on sky, freeview and cable tv. They run from morning till midnight and sell a range of products from health and beauty to craft goods and jewellery to clothing.
