Now don't get me wrong I do love some of the programmes that you can watch on itv 1 but i hate the adverts. For example, you will there watching a film and then a really dramatic scene takes place and they cut for a commercial break. To me it's like having a film being cut into two parts and then having to wait for the sequel.

However itv 1 does boast some great entertainment tv programmes such as the like of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor, and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. These are just some of the great programmes that they broadcast and they are programmes that all the family can enjoy. This can be seen by the number of ratings these big shows get because they are just so enjoyable.

I also like the dramas that they broadcast because a lot of work is put into them and sometimes they are as good as some movies. The news is another great programme that they broadcast because they update you on all the latest news stories from around the world.

Overall I think itv 1 is a great channel because it offers tv family entertainment which you don't see much on the TV anymore. However the adverts do let this channel down because I personally find them irritating but I suppose they how they make their money so I can live with it.
