The best TV Channel there is! (ITV 1)

Advantages: Great shows throughout the whole day!

Disadvantages: Adverts and football!

If I could only have one television channel that I was allowed to watch then I would pick ITV every time, I love this channel and I think it could probably keep me entertainined all day if I had the chance to sit and spend the whole day watching TV. I don't really watch that many different channels and along with ITV it will usually just be Channel 4 and ITV2. I cannot believe we have to pay TV Licence for BBC and given the choice I would happily not pay it and just live without BBC, I honestly wouldn't miss it.

I think ITV is the best channel because of all the great shows it has on, I love their daytime shows (well most of them, I can't stand Jeremy Kyle) Loose Women has got to be my favourite and I don't mind watching This Morning. I love their 9 o'clock dramas, I just enjoyed watching Murderland and I really loved The Fixer. There isn't always a good drama on at 9 but quite often they have good dramas on, I wish they would have Trial & Retribution or Prime Suspect on again, I love shows like that. I think Autumn time is probably when they have the best 9 o'clock dramas on.

My favourite show of all has got to be The X Factor and I think ITV also has great reality shows, as well as The X Factor, I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here and Dancing on Ice are both really great shows.

ITV is also really good for game shows, Goldenballs on at 5 o'clock is my favourite but there is also Family Fortunes and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

ITV is also home to two of my favourite soaps, Coronation Street and Emmerdale. I watch these all the time it does however annoy me that they are always changing what time these are on just to siut the sport.

There are two things I don't like about watching ITV. The main one is the adverts, every 1 hour show has three adverts and I would much rather watch the show without a break. I really don't like to watch the adverts and have an annoying habit of muting the TV when they are on.
I suppose the adverts are better than paying £140 a year though.

The other thing that drives me mad about ITV is all the football that seems to be on. Every Wednesday I'm left with nothing to watch as the football always seems to be on. I don't mind watching England games so much but I wish Sky or BBC had the rights to The Champions League.

Apart from the two reasons I have stated above I can honestly say I love ITV. I would say that about 70% of the time I spend watching TV I am watching ITV. I think it is a fantastic channel with just the best shows to watch and I really couldn't live without it.
